Resumen
La Santa Inquisición investigaba el pasado de las personas para esclarecer su limpieza de sangre con la ausencia de antepasados no cristianos. En Cehegín se investigó la limpieza de sangre de la familia González porque uno de ellos quiso ordenarse como clérigo. En este artículo podemos leer la transcripción del documento de la Inquisición en el que se pueden leer las preguntas a la familia y testigos y las declaraciones de vecinos de la villa.

Abstract
The Holy Inquisition investigated the past of people to clarify their cleansing of blood with the absence of non-Christian ancestors. In Cehegín, the González family’s blood cleansing was investigated because one of them wanted to ordain himself as a cleric. In this article we can read the transcript of the document of the Inquisition in which you can read the questions to the family and witnesses and the statements of neighbors of the town.
